NASA's Juno spacecraft did many flybys of Jupiter in 2018. This image, taken by Juno cam and color enhanced, shows the planets swirling cloud belts. Even from 9000+ miles above Jupiter's surface, you can see the turbulend cloud formations which seem like brush strokes of a master artist on a canvas. The term Gas Giant is misleading. These clouds are neither gas nor liquid, but are "Supercritical Fluids" which share properties of both. Interesting thought experiment is if one could stand on Jupiter or would just fall through the center. Here's an excellent analysis of what might happen.
